la encargada de hacer que el carro arranque, es decir cuando damos marcha a u automovil la marcha hace girar el cugueñal, en la nariz del cigueñal se encuentra una polea dentada, ahi va la banda de tiempo o cadena segun sea el caso, esa polea al mismo tiempo mueve al arbol de levas, el cual es el ancargado directo de hacer que se abran las valvulas de admisio y escape, para que asi el mator funcione.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;si esta banda o cadena se rompe el cigueñal gira solo y el arbol no y es por eso que es necesario cambiar la banda de distribucion para que nuestra unidad tenga un buien funcionamiento.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;ya que si esta banda se rompe cuando el motor esta mordaza es el soporte de las pastillas y los pistones de freno. Los pistones están generalmente hechos de aluminizado o cromado. Hay dos tipos de mordazas: flotantes o fijas. Las fijas no se mueven, en relación al disco de freno, y utilizan uno o más pares de pistones. De este modo, al accionarse, presionan las pastillas a ambos lados del disco. En general son más complejas y caras que las mordazas flotantes. Las mordazas flotantes, también denominadas "mordazas deslizantes", se mueven en relación al disco; un piston a uno de los lados empuja la pastilla hasta que esta hace contacto con la superficie del disco, haciendo que la mordaza y con ella la pastilla de freno interior se desplacen. De este modo la presión es aplicada a ambos lados del disco y se logra la acción de frenado.&lt;br /&gt;Las mordazas flotantes pueden fallar debido al enclavamieto de la mordaza. Esto puede ocurrir por suciedad o corrosión, cuando el vehículo no es utilizado por tiempos prolongados. Si esto sucede, la pastilla de freno de la mordaza hará fricción con el disco aún cuando el freno no esté siendo utilizado, ocasionando un desgaste acelerado de la pastilla y una reducción en el rendimiento del combustible, junto con una pérdida de la capacidad de frenado debida al recalenamiento del respectivo conjunto de frenado (tambor-balata o disco-pastilla) provocando además desequilibrio en el frenado, ya que la rueda con freno recalentado frenará menos que su contraparte.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pistones y cilindros&lt;br /&gt;Los pistones cuentan con una fijación que va alrededor y sellos que impiden el escape de la presión ejercida por el líquido de frenos, a través del cual son accionados. La mordaza lleva un conducto por el cual entra el líquido de frenos y eso hace que la mordaza empuje la pastilla contra el disco y, a la vez, que se corra la mordaza para frenar con ambas y se logre uniformizar el frenado y el desgaste.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pastillas de freno&lt;br /&gt;Las pastillas están diseñadas para producir una alta &lt;a title="Fricción" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fricci%C3%B3n"&gt;fricción&lt;/a&gt; con el disco. Deben ser reemplazadas regularmente, y muchas están equipadas con un &lt;a title="Sensor" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensor"&gt;sensor&lt;/a&gt; que alerta al conductor cuando es necesario hacerlo. Algunas tienen una pieza de metal que provoca que suene un chillido cuando están a punto de gastarse, mientras que otras llevan un material que cierra un circuito eléctrico que hace que se ilumine un testigo en el cuadro del conductor.&lt;br /&gt;Hasta hace poco tiempo las pastillas contenían &lt;a title="Asbesto" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asbesto"&gt;asbesto&lt;/a&gt;, que ha sido prohibido por resultar &lt;a title="Carcinógeno" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcin%C3%B3geno"&gt;carcinógeno&lt;/a&gt;. Por lo tanto, al trabajar con vehículos antiguos se debe tener en cuenta que no se debe inhalar el polvo que pueda estar depositado en las inmediaciones de los elementos de frenada. Hecho normalmente de &lt;a title="Acero" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acero"&gt;acero&lt;/a&gt;, está unido a la rueda o al eje. Para detener la rueda dispone de unas pastillas que son presionadas mecánica o hidráulicamente contra los laterales de los discos. La &lt;a title="Fricción" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fricci%C3%B3n"&gt;fricción&lt;/a&gt; entre el disco y las pastillas hace que la rueda se frene. pierdan la adherencia con el suelo durante un proceso de &lt;a title="Freno" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freno"&gt;frenado&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;En el año 1936 se patentó la idea por parte de la compañia alemana &lt;a class="mw-redirect" title="Bosch" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosch"&gt;Bosch&lt;/a&gt;. Se trataba de hacer, no sólo para coches sino también para camiones, trenes y aviones, que fuera más difícil bloquear una rueda en una frenada brusca, con lo que se podía conseguir una mayor seguridad. Se hicieron pruebas pero no se llegó a nada serio hasta que no se desarrolló la &lt;a class="new" title="Eletrónica digital (aún no redactado)" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Eletr%C3%B3nica_digital&amp;amp;action=edit&amp;amp;redlink=1"&gt;eletrónica digital&lt;/a&gt; a comienzos de los años 70. Hasta entonces era materialmente imposible realizar tantos cálculos como necesitaba el sistema y de forma rápida.&lt;br /&gt;Bosch inició el trabajo en serio para el desarrollo del ABS en el año 1964 de la mano de una subsidiaria, &lt;a class="new" title="Teldix (aún no redactado)" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Teldix&amp;amp;action=edit&amp;amp;redlink=1"&gt;Teldix&lt;/a&gt;. La primera generación del ABS tuvo mil componentes, cifra que se redujo hasta 140 en la segunda generación. Después de 14 años de desarrollo finalmente estuvo preparado el ABS segunda generación que se ofreció como un caro opcional en el &lt;a title="Mercedes" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes"&gt;Mercedes&lt;/a&gt; Clase S de la época y enseguida en el &lt;a title="BMW" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW"&gt;BMW&lt;/a&gt; Serie 7.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;El ABS funciona en conjunto con el sistema de frenado tradicional. Consiste en una bomba que se incorpora a los circuitos del líquido de freno y en unos detectores que controlan las revoluciones de las ruedas. Si en una frenada brusca una o varias ruedas reducen repentinamente sus revoluciones, el ABS lo detecta e interpreta que las ruedas están a punto de quedar bloqueadas sin que el vehículo se haya detenido. Esto quiere decir que el vehículo comenzará a patinar, y por lo tanto, a deslizarse sobre el suelo sin control. Para que esto no ocurra, los sensores envían una señal a la Central del sistema ABS, que reduce la presión realizada sobre los frenos, sin que intervenga en ello el conductor. Cuando la situación se ha normalizado y las ruedas giran de nuevo correctamente, el sistema permite que la presión sobre los frenos vuelva a actuar con toda la intensidad. El ABS controla nuevamente el giro de las ruedas y actúa otra vez si éstas están a punto de bloquearse por la fuerza del freno. En el caso de que este sistema intervenga, el procedimiento se repite de forma muy rápida, unas 50 a 100 veces por minuto, lo que se traduce en que el conductor percibe una vibración en el pedal del freno.&lt;br /&gt;Permite que el conductor siga teniendo el control sobre la trayectoria del vehículo, con la consiguiente posibilidad de poder esquivar el obstáculo causante de la situación de cilindro&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Un motor turbocargado produce más potencia en general que el mismo motor sin turbo. Esto puede mejorar significativamente la relación potencia-peso del motor, y para lograr esta fuerza, el turbocargador utiliza el flujo de escape del motor para impulsar una turbina, que a su vez impulsa una bomba de aire.&lt;br /&gt;La turbina del cargador gira a velocidades de 150,000 rpm, lo cual es alrededor de 30 veces más que lo que puede girar el motor de un auto, y como está colocada a la salida de los gases del motor, la temperatura en la turbina es bastante alta.&lt;br /&gt;Una de las maneras más seguras de aumentar la potencia de un motor es; incrementando la cantidad de aire y combustible que puede quemar y podemos lograrlo al agregar cilindros al motor o hacer los cilindros más grandes.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;La presión típica que puede adicionar un turbocargador es entre 6 y 8 psi. Si la presión atmosférica normal a nivel del mar es de 14.7 psi, se aprecia que se estaría introduciendo alrededor del 50% más aire al motor y como consecuencia obtendremos 50% más potencia aproximadamente, pudiendo ser un poco menos.&lt;br /&gt;El turbocargador también ayuda en niveles altos de altitud donde el aire es menos denso. Los motores normales experimentan reducción en la potencia a niveles altos, ya que en cada movimiento del pistón el motor recibe menor cantidad de masa de aire. En él los cilindros se agrupan en dos bancadas o filas de cilindros formando una letra V que convergen en el mismo cigüeñal. En estos motores el aire de admisión es succionado por dentro de la V y los gases de escape expulsados por los laterales. L y R&lt;br /&gt;Se usa en motores a partir de seis cilindros, sobre todo en automóviles de &lt;a title="Tracción delantera" href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracci%C3%B3n_delantera"&gt;tracción delantera&lt;/a&gt;, ya que acorta la longitud del motor a la mitad. La apertura de la V varía desde 54º o 60º hasta 90º o 110º aunque las más habituales son 90º y 60º. arrancones clandestinos y se me ocurre decir que vendran carros chidos de un club llamado jarochos car club, y de ahi se me ocurre la idea de que cuando pusiera mi taller se llamaria jarochos
